• API Proxy is part of API Platform Engineering org responsible for building and maintaining core infrastructure that powers over 26,000+ Google public APIs (Maps, Ads, YouTube, GCP etc). Platform handles 450M+ QPS providing foundational capabilities like IAM, quota, service usage, ToS, billing, telemetry, tenancy management, API discovery, protocol transcoding, API versioning, and multiple compliance checks.
• We manage 2 proxy products
• Built on top of Envoy, Istio and K8s for GCP & Google Private Cloud
• Custom C++ proxy and Traffic Director for internal Google environment.

• Engineering Manager for egress sidecar proxy used by all Google services internally.
• The proxy is deployed as sidecar alongside all Google servers and jobs (90M instances, supporting 1.7B QPS). I built the team in BLR for US based organisation and successfully led 15+ projects over 3 years working closely leadership, partner & customer teams across timezones.

• 1. GoFood Growth: Responsible for growth of GoFood business (MTUs, contribution margin, incentive efficiency and customer satisfaction). This group is responsible for building consumer facing features for showcasing and redeeming discounts and subscriptions, as well as self-serve tools for demand generation team.
• 2. Merchant Ads and Promo Platform: Responsible for building self-serve tools for merchants and sales to help manage ads and promotions on GoFood.

• Lead developer on Search platform for JPMorgan Markets portal. Built search web application (ReachJS), search chat-bot for Symphony platform, and search API actively used by multiple external teams. Data was aggregated from 8 external sources, entitlements were applied on top and features like trending searches were part of the platform. Also worked on Lucidworks (Solr) based platform for Search which included ingestion of 1.5 million documents, search ranking tweaks and enabling Q&A kind of queries.

• Worked as an consultant and sole developer for ERP system of Balaji Wires Ltd. The system is used for end-to-end tracking of entire process (sales orders, manufacturing, delivery, invoice). I delivered 2 major features to the system in span of 10 months, and improved the performance and availability of the system. The system is now maintained by my team involving 3 junior developers.
• Worked on a new project to track the maintenance and breakdown of machines and tools. The technologies used are Spring Boot, JPA and Angular2.

• Worked on a bond trading system used by Nomura traders, integrated with 5 markets. Added features to this system, reduced latency amidst increased throughput. I also updated the communication infrastructure between our application components (>15) with in-house distributed cache and remote-call framework. Automated the build (~30 components) and managed to save 1 day of developers' time per release.
