Teeksha Harish — Software Engineer

👋 Hi, I’m Teeksha Harish, a final-year Information Technology student at Delhi Technological University (formerly DCE). I’m passionate about building meaningful tech solutions that simplify lives and create real-world impact. With a strong foundation in Full Stack Development, I’m also exploring the exciting world of Machine Learning. 💼 I previously interned at D. E. Shaw & Co. in Hyderabad, where I had an incredible learning experience working alongside some of the best minds in tech. I’ve also interned at multiple startups including Storro, Whalestreet, Sheshya, BeePrep, and more, where I built full-stack applications from scratch and thrived in collaborative, fast-paced environments. 🚀 I've held several leadership roles: • Ex-Events Head, IGTS DTU – Our society collaborated with other colleges to organize events related to Game Theory in their tech fests. The satisfaction of witnessing smiles on people's faces following a successful event was genuinely gratifying. • Ex-Technical Lead, SITE DTU – Oversaw all technical aspects of the society, improved our society website and mentored juniors. • Ex-Software Head, Raftaar DTU – Led software aspect of our team. 🏆 Runner-up in the ASME XRC Autonomous Vehicle Challenge – We designed a virtual autonomous vehicle using CAD tools and developed an algorithm to navigate it through a simulated practice track. 🧑‍🏫 I’ve had the opportunity to mentor and judge at various hackathons, helping teams refine their ideas and solutions. I love learning alongside participants and connecting with fellow mentors. 🎤 I’ve also delivered talks on Web Development, AI tools like GitHub Copilot, The Guide to Cracking Tech interviews, and also on Hackathon tips & common mistakes, which have been incredibly rewarding experiences. 🌐 As an organizer at the SheBuilds Community, I’ve hosted tech meetups aimed at empowering women in STEM. I also organized a 36-hour hybrid hackathon – Hackemon – with over 1000 registrations, where I led end-to-end planning and ensured smooth execution. 🎶 Outside of tech, I enjoy playing the guitar, swimming, and attending hackathons and meetups to grow and connect with like-minded individuals.
