Not just building scalable distributed systems — but understanding why they work, where they break, and how to make them better. That's what keeps me going. Over the last ~4 years at IBM/Apptio, I've owned large-scale distributed systems and cloud data pipelines end-to-end — from schema design to production — processing TB-scale billing data for enterprise customers across AWS and Azure. What I enjoy most is taking ambiguous, high-stakes problems and shipping solutions that actually move the needle. Someone's got to feed the curiosity, right? I thrive at the intersection of backend engineering, data infrastructure, and FinOps — increasingly drawn to AI-driven backend systems and intelligent automation.
