About

I'm a backend Software Engineer focused on building high-throughput, production-grade distributed systems. At Rakuten, I work primarily in Go, building microservices and event-driven pipelines on Kubernetes and Kafka from PII masking layers with real-time observability, to horizontally scalable ingestion services handling multi-client event traffic. Before that, I contributed to Intel's CVE Bin Tool during Google Summer of Code, restructuring its database architecture and expanding vulnerability assessment capabilities, which shipped to an open-source tool used across the security community. I'm drawn to problems involving concurrency, distributed coordination, and systems that need to be both fast and correct. If you're building core backend infrastructure, developer platforms, or distributed systems at scale, I'd be glad to connect. • Architected and developed a lightweight, high-performance Go-based microservice that masks client-side custom PII data, implements dynamic throttling, and captures real-time API metrics for observability; improved throughput by 25x while maintaining 99.9% uptime in production environments.
  • Built a Go-based data ingestion microservice deployed on Kubernetes, designed to scale horizontally to handle up to 100,000 QPS of multi-client event traffic, performing real-time validation and sanitization
  • Engineered a distributed vulnerability scanning service with job queue management, request normalization, custom payload/scans - automated enterprise-grade security testing at 92% lower cost than commercial alternatives.
