Somewhere between 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 and 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, just figuring things out as I go. Still early in my product journey, learning by doing, messing up, fixing, and trying again. My path into design was not planned. Before I even knew what UXD meant, I used to spent hours making DIY projects from scrap, building things from nothing because creating felt exciting. Later, I began designing posters. Even then, I was not thinking about making them look cool. I cared more about how people read them, how quickly the message landed, and how simple the experience felt. Without realizing it, I was designing for clarity and behaviour, not just visuals. I didn’t take the traditional design route. I studied 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲 for two years, which made me curious about how businesses work. Later, English Literature helped me understand how people think, how they interpret information, react to stories, and make sense of the world. Without realizing it, I was building the two foundations of great product work: understanding business and understanding people. But my curiosity for simplicity and human behaviour naturally pulled me into product design. Once I discovered Design, everything started to make sense. The DIY mindset, the way I observe people, the way I simplify information… it all connected.
