Tushar Aggarwal — Product Engineer

I am a passionate and results-driven B.Tech graduate in Mathematics and Computing from IIT Goa, with a strong academic background (CGPA: 9.13/10) and a deep interest in AI, machine learning, and optimization. As a Research Fellow at Microsoft Research India, I focus on exploring the capabilities of large language models (LLMs) in code generation, editing, and optimization. My work has led to the creation of innovative benchmarks like NoFunEval and the development of new metrics for evaluating LLM performance in real-world applications. My technical toolkit spans across Python, C++, and various machine learning frameworks (including PyTorch), alongside a hands-on expertise in areas like deep learning, natural language processing, and data science. I am a firm believer in the power of collaboration. Outside of work, I enjoy sports, having won gold medals in both Lawn Tennis and Table Tennis at IIT Goa’s annual sports fest, Chakravayuh.
