My task for the internship was to work on the data provided by BIM 360 software and pilot customers to solve some problems like prediction of subcontractor rating for end of project and subcontractor risk rating during the ongoing project.
Achieved the following :
Developed random forest based classification model for end of project subcontractor rating
Created weekly features data using the historical data i.e. available for completed projects so that it is usable for experimentation on subcontractor risk models for ongoing projects
Developed unsupervised subcontractor risk model.
Leveraged deep learning for image recognition using tensorflow to present how deep learning can be used to leverage the huge construction issue image data from BIM 360 software.

Gene ontology (GO) defines terms and classes used to describe gene functions and relationships between these concepts. GO has been the standard to describing the functions of specific genes in different model organisms. Gene Ontology annotation tags genes with Gene Ontology terms has mostly been a manual and time-consuming curation process. We have utilized existing knowledge in the literature to perform the annotation.
Developed machine learning based approach to assign a gene its molecular functions (GO terms) using biomedical literature as a resource
Achieved results that are better than current state of the art and hence we are writing a journal paper based on this work.
