• Led the design and implementation of the H-Box software. H-Box software enables accessing and controlling UPnP devices that are behind NAT (i.e. in a different private network). Remote UPnP media streaming functionality is also added.
• Worked on load balancing for bursty requests pattern in hybrid clouds. Aim was to improve the caching in the VMs based on the requested content and the location of the origin of the request.

• Project aimed at finding optimal scheduling algorithm for MAC layer in ISO OSI network stack. Measured the performance of MAC layer when we moved to our new backoff protocols. Measurement of the performance was done by carrying out various simulations using Network Simulator-2 (ns2). also implemented Contention Window in 802.3 in ns2.
