Dhiraj Kalamkar — Software Engineer

Dhiraj is a Principal Engineer at Intel’s Parallel Computing Lab in Bangalore, where he leads research and development on parallel and GPGPU architectures. He is currently focused on improving the performance and efficiency of deep learning applications, frameworks, and libraries on Intel Xeon and GPU platforms. He has a rare full-stack expertise that covers AI workloads (Vision, DLRM, LLMs), Deep Learning Frameworks/runtimes, low-level libraries and HW (CPU/GPU). He has contributed to multiple MLPerf benchmarking submissions that showcased the best training and inference results on Intel Xeon processors.
