• CodeFest is the annual coding festival of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT (BHU) Varanasi. I was member of the organising team of first Codefest in 2010. Worked on developing and managing the online judge for a constraint based programming contest named 'Perplexed'. Implemented a web service based Online judge which can evaluate submitted code for correctness and compute the score based on constraints defined in the problem. The web services was hosted on a remote server while the front-end was hosted as part of Codefest website on AWS EC2. Also, implemented a front-end module in JavaScript and PHP which can communicate with the web server and also do dry run of the customer input to provide a quick feedback to participant before doing the actual submission to judge.
• In 2011 I also served as the Co-Convener of the festival responsible for leading the technical effort required to organise the festival. The team developed a frontend website which is responsible for participant registration, announcements and hosting contests. We also developed online judges for Perplexed (an online constraint based programming contest), Virtual Combat (A simulated tank battle contest where participant can compete by coding their logic for tanks) and many other online contests.

The project involved collaboration between IBM's Java Technology Center and Linux Technology Center. Got the opportunity to work on some core technologies which include Linux kernel and IBM's J9VM.

• Neemap for Siebel CRM: Exposure : .NET Mobile, ASP .NET (C#), J2ME, WAP, Web Services Profile : NeeMap integrates CRM solutions with location based information to improve productivity of the field sales force and reduce cost. Based on SaaS model it is a mobile based software which can be used for lead management for companies with very large sales structure. Worked on this project from scratch as a two member team and was even present during its presentation to clients. The project is currently running as a pilot in two leading Automobile companies of India.
