• Designed, developed and owned a feature , CoBrand, for techbargains which allows third party website to get our deals and coupons at the run by simply adding a js tag on his webpage. Details follow:
• 1. Any independent webpage simply need to add js tag on his webpage, setting some parameters and calling a javascript file from techbargains server. While rendering , this js file will get the data from techbargains server in html format and render it on the page.
• Designed, developed & owned a feature called Product Pages. Details follow:
• 1. For each DEAL Page , related products are optionally displayed on the page.Clicking on any product opens a dedicated product page with product details i.e. photo, description , price comparison ,if present, etc.
• 2. The data for the Product Page comes from a different database and not from typical Techbargains server, created for Product Data as the data was too big to be shared with existing database.
• 3. Created a daily java scheduled task to load data into database from the CSV files provided from third party using various sql files.
• 4. Created Admin tool using Spring 3.0 and hibernate to manage the products added to the database.
