About

With over 10 years of experience in data science and machine learning, I am passionate about solving complex and impactful problems across various domains, such as inferential statistics, predictive modeling, natural language processing, and experimentation. I have a Masters in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, where I studied advanced courses in statistics, machine learning, pattern recognition, and optimization. Currently, I work as a Research Data Scientist at Meta, where I am part of the Infra Quant Engineering team. I focus on developing and improving the AI inference platform and the Data Infrastructure for privacy, security, and governance. I collaborate with cross-functional engineering and business teams, frame ambiguous business questions into concrete data science and ML solutions, and communicate the results effectively. Some of my recent projects include geo-based A/B testing, multi-touch attribution modeling, and text clustering for paid search ads. I use Python, Teradata SQL, SAS, and Shell as my main programming languages, and leverage various ML techniques and packages, such as pandas, NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, statsmodel, Keras, pyMC3, Jupyter, Microsoft Azure, and Databricks.
