I interned with the Software Engineering in Test team and built a smart HTML file differ (a differ is a software which finds differences between two files). Our approach made use of the DOM tree structure of HTML files, instead of doing a naive text diff on HTML source. The differ cut down the number of manually inspected files from the order of 100k to ~1k.
