• I have started working in Openstack from the Folsom release and focused my energy on improving and adding customisations to the Neutron project in Openstack. I have developed expertise in the L2 agent based on OpenVSwitch and the DHCP agent. I have identified and implemented quite a few enhancements, which helped our solution to scale better.
• After that we designed and implemented a solution to bring in support for ESX based deployments under Openstack. I am part of the team which developed a solution called OVSvApp which is the L2 agent equivalent for managing ESX clouds with Openstack. In this solution also, I have played a key role in designing and improving the scalability of the product.
• Prior to the work on Openstack, I worked on a Network Management Solution called ProCurve Manager. I was part of team which was working on the User Access management and Threat management modules in the product suite.

• I was a developer in the internal Product Development team. We built a web enabled (SaaS) campus ERP called Campus Metalink ( www.campusmetalink.com ) using open source technologies. The product is aimed at educational institutions which help them to manage various processes right from the moment a candidate applies for the institute to the moment of graduation. It had around 25 modules catering the different needs of the colleges including HR, Finance along with the Admission and Academics related features.
• Java, JSF (with Seam) and MySql are used for developing the product.
• My role started with the development of certain batch processes using threads, which automate the business processes for the clients. This work involved coding in JDBC with extensive use of Collections and Threads. After this I got the opportunity to lay hands on developing the web pages and implementing functionality in key modules. At times it was quite challenging since I have to start right from the scratch of analyzing the functionality, designing the DB, designing the page layout and then develop the actual functionality.
• I was responsible for presenting the demo of our product to the prospect customers as well.
