• In my current role, I lead the engineering, product, program, data, design & other functions for the multi surface product ecosystem. The flagship products include-
• Photoshop Elements which is designed for those who want automated & easy ways to organise photos, make them look great, turn them into personalised creations and share with family and friends.
• Premiere Elements which is for people who want quick and easy ways to organise videos, edit to make them look great, turn them into fun creations and share.
• The desktop products are complemented with a mobile & web application (in beta).

• Led engineering efforts that resulted in millions of dollars in revenue / cost saving for a cloud-based AI & ML chatbot solution. It drove customer success by understanding and automatically resolving customer issues. The chatbot solution had an encapsulation layer and could hook to any contact centre to provide end to end customer support experience. Our engineering team consisted of full stack engineers, data scientist & ML engineers. KPI included better user engagement, increased retention & incremental sales revenue.

• In this role, I was responsible for ensuring quality and experience for the various touch-points a user would interact with when they were on-boarded Adobe Creative Cloud.
• The various projects part of the portfolio included desktop products such as Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app, web interface for the same; cloud hosted services that enabled communication between Creative Cloud apps; end-to-end functional & customer journeys in individual and enterprise segment.
• Teams that I managed had white-box test engineers, automation experts & workflow specialists.

• As the Lead Quality Manager for Adobe InDesign, I was responsible for ensuring timely and quality release for this flagship desktop and digital publishing product.
• The team was distributed across India, US, Japan and China. In collaboration with a team of managers, I oversaw the progress of the product and devised measures to quantitatively monitor progress and success. We formulated processes that helped testing become agile and optimal.

• As the Lead Quality Manager for Adobe Premiere Elements, I was responsible for maintaining and enhancing quality of this flagship product at Adobe. This team was fully based out of India and I had to work with the Development Manager, Program Manager, Product Manager and Experience Designers as a core-member of leadership team for this product.
• During my tenure with this product, among other awards; Premiere Elements was awarded the #10 ranking by PC World Magazine for 100 Best Products of the year.

Oct 1999 – Dec 2003 · 4 yrs 2 mos · India

• I started my career in Adobe as a Quality Engineer testing a vector format import filter for Adobe Illustrator 9.0. I then moved on to testing PDF export format for Adobe PageMaker 7.0. A new team was formed at Adobe India for work on Digital Video products. I was responsible for testing export/import filters and providing technical leadership to other QE during this period.
