Worked on a Payments app simulator consisting of Mobile app (Jetpack Compose) and Spring-Boot backend. Like UPI payments apps in India.
Developed a Modularized Android application utilizing MVVM architecture. Engineered 10+ different modules, including one dedicated to capturing sensitive data such as PINs during UPI payments.
Made 15+ RESTful APIs to handle various features such as Start transaction, Check account balance, Get User info, Register App module and fetch public RSA keys. Requests made in JSON / XML across 2 different servers (PSP/Bank and NPCI switch) made using Spring-Boot.
Utilized the RSA asymmetric and AES symmetric cryptography algorithms to secure data at 4 levels in payment processing and employed the SHA-256 hashing algorithm to store passwords securely in MySQL database.
