• Currently, I am the only DevOps engineer at Zapr media labs. My key responsibilities as a DevOps engineer include the following:
• ● Managing High throughput Kafka and Zookeeper Clusters.
• ● Worked with NoSQL databases like Aerospike / MongoDB Clusters which includes Setting up, Tuning, Monitoring and Alerting.
• ● We use Jenkins and Maven as our build tools and Ansible as our Continuous deployment tool.
• Jenkins builds are triggered for each release version and these builds are then propagated to the servers using Ansible.
• ● We extensively use Spot instances for our processing needs. The majority of our infrastructure runs on spot instances. we use spot fleets to achieve this. Worked on various Jenkins jobs which configure the server using Ansible, Creates the AMI and launch at spot fleets.
• ● We use Nagios as our main alerting system, wrote various python/shell scripts to setup alerting.
• Collectd / Custom scripts are used for metrics collections and Carbon / Graphite and Grafana for metrics Visualization.
• ● We use Cloudera / Hortonworks as your Big Data distribution. Configured Cloudera manager with various components like Hadoop, Hive, Hue Oozie etc for our Data warehousing needs.
• ● Worked on various Ansible Playbooks to automate various parts of the infrastructure.
• ● Worked on various slack bots using python to report daily AWS Cost expenditure. Critical alerts etc.
• ● We use Azkaban / Oozie as our Workflow manager for big data workloads like Hadoop, Spark etc. Worked on various azkaban jobs for managing our data warehouse processes.
• ● We use Druid OLAP database for data aggregation, worked on setting up Druid Cluster and Administration.
• ● Other things include setting up Highly available Cross Region OpenVPN Server, LDAP for centralised SSH Server authentication, Debugging production issues. Mentoring development team. Making sure Datacentre is running fine in case of Power / Hardware failures etc

• I was a part of a DevOps team at Razorfish (India) with managing various AWS
• accounts using various technology stack like Adobe AEM, Ruby on rails, Magento, Tomcat,
• Drupal etc with over 800+ servers. My day to day activities involves:
• ● Setting up various Jenkins jobs to pull the code from the repository to build docker
• images dynamically using Dockerfile and pushing it to docker private registry.

• region level as per the client requirements. Worked on Cloud­formation templates, Terraform
• for creating the ​replica of the entire infrastructure in case Aws region outages.

• ● Assisted consulting team for architecting highly available and scalable applications with over 100 EC2 instances using AWS services like VPC, RDS, Route 53, SNS, SQS, IAM
• ● Worked on Windows Server 2008 and 2012 for setting up IIS server, setting up custom metrics, cloud watch alarms, generating and renewing SSl certificates, setting up FTP server etc.
• ● Worked and implemented disaster recovery plan on clients infrastructure.
• ● Worked on a Bash script to take the manual snapshot of RDS and EC2 instances daily and expiry the snapshot on a monthly basis and weekly basis.

• ● Migrated more than 20+ On-premise Mysql database with over 40Gb in size to Amazon RDS using bash script to provision the resource and automate the process
