• Along with leading the GCC in India, in this Head of Engineering role, I build the technology strategy of Product Classification with +20% MoM TIV uplift for products in a semester, and created Seller Analytics Heuristics platform by bring down data anamolies from 23% to <1% by 2022 and supporting the business goals of Sellers of Tokopedia . This involves deep collaboration with technology product and business stakeholders. At the core of the execution lies the philosophy of using technology as exponential factor of scale.
• During this tenure, I led multiple technology charters of audit, ISO, PII for 1500+ Engineering team across org meet government and regulatory compliances.
• In this role I enable product and business by designing long term sustainable and scalable solutions by help of a fantastic engineering team of multiple demography.
• As a part of GoTo Group,my key role is to empower engineering teams to keep on building foundational blocks that can meet the mission of democratising e-commerce in Indonesia.

• Tokopedia is an organization that is able to maintain the start up and large scale environment in tandem and is extremely engineering and product focused with fast deliverables. It is the largest e-commerce platform in Indonesia which raised $1.1 billion from Alibaba and $100 million funding from Softbank and Sequoia Capital.
• Here, I am working with Category and Browse team and the mission is make Tokopedia a market leader in every Physical Goods Category by providing appropriate product classification and enhanced category experience. This is enabled by ensemble deep learning models based on keywords and images.
• I am also building the statistics platform using Airflow and Bigtable with help some great engineers to provide keystone metrics to merchants.
• Golang is at the core of all of these solutions.

• The stint at Tokopedia gave me an opportunity to setup the India Development Center, an opportunity that was not only limited to delivering the products by reducing time to market, but also setting up the Engineering Team at India Development Center, an engineering team which started from 2 member to nearly 100 by Dec 2018.
• The experience of building some of the core platforms such as Entertainment Vertical, and Order Management System (yes, Once again) and setting up engineering team for these products, creating a environment in India to reflect the work culture of Tokopedia, is flabbergasting.

• At NTUC, I was leading the Core Product Development (CPD) Team, and I tried to build and move things fast because plan was to build the Fairprice services in-house from scratch. However, generally an application build end to end in 3-4 days takes 2 months go live.
• Having said that I had a good exposure to team and product management because leadership in CPD was heavily engineering focused.

• It is the architecture built by this team, that event stands strong today and supports the infrastructure of Paytm. This is where my expertise of building an Order Management System started.

• It is once in a life time and rare opportunity to return the favor to one's Alma Mater.
• I established the Alumni Association of IIITDM-Jabalpur in 2010 by formalizing the convocation and on boarding process. This initiative was supported by then Student Conveynor Prof. P.K. Jain.
• Later with the Guidance of Prof. Puneet Tandon, who provided an amazing team of Anurag Prakash, Satya, Parag along with 25 other students, we were able to conduct our First 2 day Alumni Meet in Dec 2015. In the General Body Meeting of the event the Constitution, which I had drafted with Constitution Drafting Committee comprising Senior Alumni, was passed with some amendments in the proposed constitution.
• The First Alumni Meet provided the Alumni Association its first Executive Committee comprising President Sameer Saurabh, VP Apurv Vasal, Secretary Suteerth Tripathi, and Student Representatives Ankit Shukla, Rajlaxmi Chauhan, and Razik Khan, and later, Faculty-In-Charge of Alumni Association Prof. Biswajeet Mukharjee. Under their leadership the Association and its proceedings became more and more mature, and thus we laid the foundation of a Professional Organization.
• Today the Alumni Association of IIIT Jabalpur is a registered Society under Societies Act 21 of 1860.
• Overall it was an amazing learning experience by working with some fantastic Juniors, Awesome seniors and some Great Professors.
• I hope I was able to contribute back enough to my Alma Mater, and hope that the next association Executive Committee performs the association ceremonies with ethics and professionalism by keeping Institute and the Association at the center.
