• Final year project sponsored by PID to develop and integrate gamification into their client application, based on core gamification theory principles including psychological factors, personality types, and game mechanics. Through this project, I gained invaluable insights on how much human psychology can influence organisational decisions and productivity.
• Responsibilities:
• JavaScript Development:
• Designed and implemented complex logic to ensure seamless integration and functionality of the gamification features within the frontend of the application.
• Developed algorithms to track and reward user behaviors, integrating game mechanics like points, badges, and leaderboards into the application.
• Utilized JavaScript frameworks and libraries to enhance functionality, improve performance, and ensure cross-browser compatibility.

• Created engaging animations and graphics for game elements to enhance user experience and interaction within the application.

• Worked closely with a multidisciplinary team to align the gamification elements with business objectives and user needs.

• Automated the metadata and data quality validation process occuring before data migration from OLTP to OLAP, using Hadoop and PySpark. This reduced down time required for validation by over 90%. Parallely, we designed a reporting framework to communicate to stakeholders the data that did not meet validation criteria.
• Successfully developed and deployed the Oracle-EAP data validation framework, saving on significant manual testing and annual finances.
• Optimized data transfer processes by ensuring metadata accuracy and data quality.
• Integrated the framework into the team's workflow, improving productivity whilst maintaining data integrity.
