• Continued with the effort for a highly scalable, efficient messaging platform. Exhaustive research and benchmarking was done for all the available messaging platforms. Apache's Kafka was found to be matching most of our benchmark requirements. Started a wrapper on top of Kafka. It was made available to teams across walmart labs. We provided an easy guide and a web wrapper to integrate to the system. Within a couple of months, we had an amazing adoption across walmartlabs.
