• The Internship was a 4 month long involvement, which resulted in the completion of a project on Data Analytics and Machine Learning, using tools from Python, R statistical language and Excel as a platform for analysis. The crux was to learn various Analytical Algorithms such as Optimization and Minimization Algorithms, Clustering Algorithms, Discriminant Analysis, Factor Analysis, etc. and apply them on a given data set.
• The data set was - Data on all Brands of Cereals and their nutrient content, which existed in the market. The objective was, to investigate the existence of a fine space in the given data set, in order to allow the emergence of a new Cereal, in the market. This new Cereal must be unique, and at the same time, must have acceptable ranges of nutrient values.
