I enjoy building teams from scratch, love developing new features for customers, and build scalable platforms/applications. My three key responsibilities in the current job with Amazon Prime are - i) building core services and applications for member acquisition/retention and subscription life cycle functions, ii) ultra high volume data processing and extracting insights from them, and iii) inventing simple systems which do complex things for Prime. Core services built under my leadership and currently operated by my teams are responsible for all subscription life cycle functions across all 26 Prime countries. I lead all Data and Analytics for WW Prime and built multiple products which provide nth layer deep insights in simple words; this helps both run the business but more importantly provides baseline for new products and features for customers. Other significant core services include Real-time Data processing with AWS technologies, Verification, 3P integration with Prime and many more. My main specialization are - i) Serving our customers, ii) Build new tech to solve complex problems, iii) Distributed Architecture, iv) Data and Analytics, and v) Building teams from scratch and developing leaders. The systems built, owned and operated by my teams are highly available and low latency mission critical services which get billions of hits every day. The data processing systems crunch ultra large volume data and provide insights through a simple API. Leaders hired and developed by me have grown from entry level engineers to very senior tech leaders both as ICs and managers.
