• Oracle Enterprise Repository (OER) manages unstructured metadata (artifacts, assets) using governance paradigms such as policies, triggers, and workflows. Unlike conventional repositories, the product supports modeling of schema using UML concepts of types and relations. The current effort of OER 12g involves re-writing product to support multi-tenancy and high availability to integrate with cloud.
• Architecture, design and implementation of following components of OER:-
• A Highly available and reliable subsystem to notify subscribers for store and timer events.
• An assertion based rule evaluation engine to execute code closer to data. Assertions are groovy scripts that are executed by secure script engine which is capable of external dependency resolution.
• Framework to provision authorization policies and synchronize with OOTB authorizer.
• Auditing component to trace the user activity in server for security compliance.
