• At Wipro, I worked as a Lead on Visual Computing applications, using Deep Learning. These applications, provided as mobile services, will be integrated into Wipro’s ERP system, which can be used by our clients. I was also involved in developing a language translation engine, designed for English to German translation and vice-versa. We are leveraging deep networks, like Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) and Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN) for translation. Our software is built using Google’s Tensorflow.

My work here involved developing new techniques for these problems, as well as the implementation of industry grade software that can be readily deployed in an end user application. The software was developed in OpenCV, C++.

• I spent two and a half months as a research intern in GE, John F. Welch Technology Center. While at GE, I developed an automated image processing algorithm was developed to detect the femur bone from ultrasound image data and extract accurate quantitative measurements, for use in clinical diagnostics. A paper based on this was accepted for oral presentation and published in SPIE Medical Imaging 2010 and a patent was simultaneously filed.
