• Atonarp Inc works on development of Mass spectroscopy and Optical spectrometry products. The Mass spec. is used to identify the concentration of gaseous molecules in manufacturing processes particularly in industries like Semiconductor Fabs., Pharma, food processing, petroleum, etc.,. The Optical Spectrometry product is under development to identify Glucose and other Analytes in the human body in a non-invasive manner by using optical methods through the skin. The company is 14 year old company with offices in Tokyo, California and Bangalore.
• My role has been to lead Hardware Development for next generation of Mass Spectrometer product (from June 2023)
• Design Analog circuit for generating high voltage 0 to 200V with < 5ppm precision
• Design RF circuits for generation of 0 to 2kV RF at 4MHz, with <10ppm
• Circuit for measurement of current in the range of 1pA to 100nA.
• Microcontroller and Microprocessor boards for functional requirements

• Sigtuple's flagship product was a Blood sample analyzer for which they built the imaging hardware and also the Image acquisition utility which uploads the data to the cloud for further analysis. They has other AI solutions for Retinal Image analysis.
• Sigtuple was looking to backward integrate their Retinal Image Analysis with an automated Retinal Imaging system. Sigtuple was exploring working with other companies to acquire technology. They reached out to my earlier venture Intuvision to initially partner with us for the development and once the product is fully built they would acquire the technology. I joined Sigtuple because of my in-depth knowledge of Intuvision Technology and Retinal Imaging space.
• My roles were to work on developing an Automated Retinal Camera and manage a diverse team to deliver the product at the earliest. Also there was a production license of Intuvision with Truelyser (Sigtuple’s Subsidiary), so I was also responsible to enable the Knowledge transfer to the production team and update documentation for quality compliance. I managed a team of 4 members with 2 software engineers, 1 Mechanical engineer and 1 Optics Engineer. I played a hands on role in the Electronics development and system integration. I also had to interface with other stakeholder like the Production team, Cloud Software team, Image processing/AI team, Product team and Quality team.
• Key Achievements:
• Ensured complete transfer of production knowledge and the production team was able to manufacture 7 units each of 2 product variants within a duration of 4 months.
• Managed a software team to improve the User interface of the software and also integration of the Desktop application Software with the Cloud APIs, and ensure 2 way communication.
• Built a prototype for the Automated Retinal imaging system and worked closely with the image processing team to provide them necessary video and system data and APIs to control the Hardware.

• My main responsibility was in the Electronics Board design as part of the product improvement activities. This involved debugging current issues related to repeatability and accuracy while overcoming the effects of noise and Thermal changes. I was involved in address in Manufacturing issues and variations. Additional responsibilities included Firmware, Algorithms development, Board Validation and Test Automations. Lead a team of 4 people for executing all the activities. Also interacted with US team members for operational issues in Manufacturing and Apps team for customer reported issues.
• Key achievements:
• Improved Ion Drive Board voltage stability from 70 ppm/C to about 5 ppm/C.
• Performed Board bringup activities for New Microcontroller Board
• Improved Ion current estimation algorithm to be more resilient to low frequency noises.
• Implement PID based Temperature control loop for the Vacuum chamber
• Incorporate 2 week Agile sprints for Firmware and Validation activities.

• Intuvision Labs was started to develop high quality medical products in an affordable manner, targeting challenging health care problems. Our target customers are Doctors Clinics, tertiary health centers and diagnostic labs.
• As the Technical Director of the Startup, I'm involved in design and development of various products for the company. The flagship product of the company is Intucam-45, a Non-mydriatic and Mydriatic Fundus camera.
• The product is used to capture images of Retina of Human eye, to identify the damages caused to the retina caused due to various health disorders. The images captured help the doctors in studying the pathalogies and performing the necessary treatment thus preventing incidence of blindness in the patient.
• My role involves building a team of engineers and architect the development of the product. Involved in design of Optics, Electronics, Firmware, Opto-mechanics and Industrial design of the product.
• Interact with various doctors to understand the requirements of the product and interact with the
• sales and marketing heads to gather necessary inputs for product development.
• Perform design for manufacturing for the product. Interact with various vendors and negotiate for better quality control and pricing of the parts. Verify the compliance of the products as per various ISO and IEC standards.

• Airfye Technologies was started to develop products in the Internet of Things (IoT) space and targeted in the Home Automation space. Our target customers were middle and upper-middle class families with existing homes. So our design objectives were to make something that is affordable and compact so that they can fit into existing homes. We had to include attractive features and other features such that the customer will be able to get some return on investment from the installation of the product.
• As the Technical Director of Airfye, I was involved in designing the hardware prototype and development of firmware for the product. Working on Bluetooth and WiFi protocols for communication to the smart phone and the cloud. Interact with the application developers for the development of application, GUIs and communation with the hardware.

• Forus Health has developed first of its kind pre-screening ophthalmology device called 3nethra. 3nethra is the first device in the world which combines fundus and refraction on a single device. 3nethra is a Single, portable, Intelligent, non-invasive, non-mydriatic eye pre-screening device, detects 5 major ailments of eye automatically – cataract, glaucoma, diabetic retina, cornea problems and provides refractive error measurements.
• I was involved in the product development even before the inception of the company. The work on this product development started from my Masters degree at IISc. The founders of the company had the idea of the product concept and I as the Hardware Architect of the product transformed the idea and engineered the product and make it a reality.
• My role was mainly as a System Integrator with a core competency of Electronics design and Image acquisition. But having to interface closely with the optical, Mechanical, Industrial design and Software teams I have developed deeper understanding in these domains as well, and have become proficient with their design and development methods.
• I have successfully developed the 3nethra Classic, and setup manufacturing procedures for it and currently is has crossed over 500+ installations globally. Also the follow-on product 3nethra Royal developed by me, which involved a lot of my design efforts also has over 200+ installations.

• This division of the nVidia in India used to work on designing chipsets that communicate with Intel/AMD x86 CPUs used in the computers and controls the various peripherals. I worked on various roles during these two years. Most of the time was spent at System level RTL frontend Verification, Emulation of the design on FPGAs, System Bring up and Overclocking performance tests. My work was spread over 5 projects/product/Chipsets, 2 of which were commercial and 3 were discontinued.
• My key roles and responsibilities
• Ownership of the System RTL Simulation Platform, maintain development code environment. Setup automated testing methods, flag faulty check-ins and build breaks, perform regression testing and Reporting progress
• Compile and generate FPGA Bit stream, program them on the Multi FPGA custom platform and Boot Windows on the Emulation platform
• Ownership of the Clock, Resets, Boot up sequence, and GPU modules of the chipset testing
• Develop and update test plan, based on the requirements for the project and perform testing
• Develop Shell and Perl Scripts for automation of the activities
