• SI Studio is an end to end automation framework for the deployment as well as customization of various network elements serviced by the System Integration team– it is deployed on Nokia Cloud to help collaboration between teams – and integrated with all the existing process tools for standardization. • o TCS team has developed SI-STUDIO framework from scratch using Java, ODL, Yang , Codenvy technologies.
• o Till now TCS team has automated NTHLR, NTAS, CFX and One-NDS Nokia elements using SI-STUDIO framework, across Nokia SI-STUDIO FW is being used for NE deployments
• o Automation of the manual processes - achieving efforts saving.( Used Ansible and Python)
• Every deployment task was done manually so there was same work getting executed by multiple times. Hence there was no reuse of successful deployment solution.
• o Elimination of person dependency & standardization of tools – bringing high quality & uniformity of service delivery. Since all tasks are manual, there is lot of scope of manual mistakes making the process less effective and time consuming.
• o Since all solutions were executed and managed locally, teams used their own naming conventions and code standards which makes it difficult to collab with other teams and solutions.
• Our solution follows a standard in terms of creating SI account and using the same account identifier across all stages of deployment hence providing standardization.
