  • My Role as Creative Director was a challenge. One of the tasks was to change the public perception of the company with regard to Character Animation, and win jobs that could demonstrate that we were not only capable of high-end character animation, but could offer a much more creative solution than Riot was previously known for. This took time, but changes in software and team structure led Riot to being a far more 'creative' looking company.
  • We did many campaigns for the clients like; BP, Michelin, and DreamWorks, which the company previously would not have won.
  • I directed many commercials during my time there, and also joined the DGA.
  • I left Riot to direct full time, but returned many times for my vfx & finishing needs. During Riots merger with Method Studios I also returned to work as VFX-Sup for 'Gullivers Travels'.

  • Everyone at this company took on many roles. I was on the original 'WORMS' creative team. I was employed to create the comedic cinematic sequences that played in-between levels. I also did some of the voices that are still used today.
  • After the success for Worms (1) I was then was taken on as staff for 'WORMS 2' and the additional game packs. Throughout my time there I also worked on other games such at 'Project X2'.
  • My time at Team17 was incredibly rewarding; we were constantly trying new things, and I was surrounded by some incredibly talented people.
  • It's been decades since I worked on Worms, but I still look back at that time fondly, and to this day I still meet people who say, 'You worked on Worms?, that was my favorite game in College'.
