• Worked as a backend developer in the OYO-OS Team, which is used by all the hotels associated with OYO globally, for managing their property. It works as an tool for the property manager for their bookings, revenue, generating their reports, providing access to their employees, the condition of the room and a lot of other things. I worked on the development of daily and scheduled reminders of the number of remaining check-in and check-out in a given time frame which depends on the location of the hotel. This feature is currently enabled on nearly 5K hotels in more than 10 countries and the property managers really appreciated this feature.
• Before moving to the OYO-OS team, Worked as an backend developer for OYO-LIFE India & Japan. I worked on differents part like improving the SEO content of the websites. I wrote a complete microservice from scratch which is used to generate the sitemap.xml file for both the websites. Earlier it was hard-coded. I also worked on the part to show recommended properties on the homepage based on certain parameters.
• Other things that I worked are creating new API's for the required data and managing the databases. Writing test cases and routine tasks like testing and debugging.
