I have a degree in Computer Science. Learned Java, C++, web development. Invested well in it too. Then I realized I had zero interest in writing code for a living. From a very early age, I knew I was good with people. Communicating came naturally, listening even more so. I have always been someone people open up to. I did not plan on a career in HR. I simply took an opportunity as a fresher, and it turned out to be the right one. I started in recruitment and quickly realized I preferred being the person people rely on, not the one they hesitate to approach. I pay attention to details, follow through, and fix things before they turn into problems someone else has to clean up. Over the past 3 years, I have moved into HR Operations and handled onboarding, payroll coordination, compliance, attendance management, and HRIS platforms like Workday and Oracle. In simple terms, I make sure the employee experience actually works instead of just existing on paper.
