5G is just not another headline, thus it’s difficult not to be enthusiastic about its potential, and it is also not all about only speed. 5G is the next step forward. I am Biswapratap Singh Sahoo, a Ph.D. researcher in electrical engineering at the National Taiwan University (NTU), Taiwan. I possess a strong background in 5G millimeter-wave (mmWave) communications and New Radio (NR) technologies. My research output has been published in high-quality peer-reviewed scientific journals and conference proceedings. Currently, working on mmWave communications targeting 3GPP standardization. My research focuses on medium access control (MAC) protocol design and modeling mmWave 5G systems. My current work includes: ▪ 5G wireless (mmWave) mesh backhaul design. ▪ Reference signal design for mmWave systems. ▪ NR-based access to unlicensed spectrum. ▪ Multi-RAT coexistence in IIoT scenarios. I am happy to engage in professional relationships. Feel free to reach out to me on this platform and via email: biswap@outlook.com
