• Disaster Recovery for Fusion Applications SaaS ensures maximum availability of key FA SaaS components in an Oracle Public Cloud Data Center. The Disaster Recovery capability protects customer assets, minimizes downtime, and prevents data loss. DR for FA SaaS provides many capabilities like Provisioning, Switchover, Switchback and Failover. These features help protect the customer deployment from a natural disaster, unplanned down time and minimize planned downtime.
• Development of topologies using DTE (Distributed Topology Environment), a framework for executing scripts on multiple machines.
• Worked on several automations in Perl and Shell to reduce the manual effort of the team.
• Extensively used Jenkins CICD platform to integrate above automations and run monthly validations.
• Created Build Jobs and Pipelines in Jenkins to test and validate multiple features released out on a monthly basis.
• Parsed XML and JSON based input files and validated/stored data for automations.
• Created an Internal dashboard (webpage) to monitor hardware usage and availability.
• Worked on creation of snapshots and cloning on Sun ZFS Storage using CLI.
