As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at LinkedIn, I work on the Multilingual OCR effort, which aims to extract and analyze text from images in different languages. This project leverages my skills and interests in computer vision, deep learning, and natural language processing, as well as my experience in solving machine learning problems in various domains. Before joining LinkedIn, I was an Applied Scientist at Amazon, where I worked in the Trans.ai team to improve the delivery and dispute resolution processes for Amazon's transportation network. I developed and deployed models to predict delivery delays, provide revised delivery dates, and automatically root-cause financial disputes. I also have an accepted publication at IJCAI 2020, one of the top conferences on artificial intelligence, on a novel sparse clustering method for high-dimensional data. I hold a Master of Technology in Computer Science from Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. I have multiple patents, certifications, honors, and publications in the fields of computer vision, deep learning, machine learning, and optimization techniques.
