• Out of over 100 candidates, I took part in Fidessa’s Summer Software Engineering internship program where I was helping work on Sentinel 2.0, Fidessa’s leading compliance management system.
• Improved my technical programming ability; using Angular, and Java.
• Developed my skills in testing using JUnit and Jasmine for unit testing, JMeter for performance testing, Protractor for End to End testing and Fitnesse for Acceptance testing.
• Learned more about Continuous Integration using Jenkins and different forms of version control using Subversion.
• Strengthened my team working skills, this being the largest team I’ve built software with I was able to work with lots of different people, as well as this I solidified my skills working within an Agile framework.
• Some of my biggest accomplishments I achieved over the summer was helping implement was the change password functionality, implementing and fixing performance tests as well as reducing a memory leak on the system by a third.

• Created a Java application so as to help integrate a new business strategy - helping work with the commercial team.
• Worked in the development team, working on the latest version of https://squawka.com using React.Js, Microservices and Rest APIs.
• Allowed me to have a direct impact on Catena’s products fixing bugs and adding features
• Worked through multiple Sprints giving me a comprehensive view of professional web development.
