• As a senior developer in the iOS team, worked closely with the Android team, PMs, and XDs on the multiple features.
• Developed a framework to capture app startup reasons to identify ANRs and background crashes. The module helped identify and fix 10K+ crashes and ANR instances across versions.
• Led a team for improvisation of accessibility workflows. The results were commended by real-time visually challenged users. Sparked conversations to take that extra mile to make the app more accessible. Branded as the iOS Accessibility person in the team.
• Ideated, designed and developed an improved in-chat search to include images and documents as a Hackathon project. This was further chosen for productization.
• Worked on improving the performance and complete overhaul of location features.
• Designed and developed features including discover nearby groups, profile enhancements, reply to messages, read receipts among others.

• The project A Helping Gesture included developing a wearable device that does gesture recognition based on colours. The aim was to show the ability of embedded systems to do computer vision. The final prototype developed had two boards and a Bluetooth module for communication with an android phone. The boards after recognizing the colours send a command to the phone, which then performed a corresponding function – like playing a music file, speed-dialing a number etc.
