  • Thesis title: Evolution of Expectations Channel of Monetary Policy Transmission: An Indian Experience (Supervisor: Prof. Ashima Goyal).
  • Description: I empirically examine the evidence of expectations channel of monetary policy transmission in India using survey-based datasets measuring inflation expectations of households and professional forecasters, and suggest policy implications to strengthen the transmission process especially during the flexible inflation targeting (FIT) regime in India – using time-series econometric tools (SVAR, Historical Decomposition, Scenario Analysis, Sign-restricted VAR, GMM-IV), limited dependent variable analysis (Ordered Logit Model), machine learning algorithms (text-analytics), and epidemiological models.
  • Over the course of PhD, I got out five publications (4 journal articles and 1 book chapter), which constitute a part of my PhD. Two more are still in the process of publication. The PDFs of all the published pieces are attached herewith.
