• Federal government employee at the USDS, a group at the White House started to bring private sector expertise to government for 1-2 year tours of duty.
• Founding member of the USDS team at Health and Human Services working on healthcare projects such as healthcare.gov and the Medicare quality reporting systems.
• Acting CTO of the Quality Payment Program, which implements the 2015 MACRA legislation that shifts the $100 billions+ of Medicare spending to value-based care. Focus on architecture, security, automation, and overall best practices. Our team won the 2017 “Execution of Major Projects Award.”
• Helped grow the HHS team to 15+ people and hire within USDS, conducting over 100 technical interviews. Nothing better than growing the next generation of USDSers!
