• Designed and managed the implementation of a new development infrastructure for Betfair. I worked closely with development leads and the infrastructure project manager to reinvigorate the project. Managed several contractors and in house administrators in installing new software packages, migrating existing packages and implementing them in a highly available and secure way. Created new processes that complied with in house security standards with regards access to systems.

Programming included: stock and credit programming, point of sale, real-time replication and batch processing programming. On the Linux side I was involved in scripting, automation, automated data loads, automated software deployment, monitoring, hardware builds, console and printer configuration. Warehouse setups included diskless PXE systems with NFS root file systems.
