• Nigerian Gas Company is a subsidiary of NNPC concerned with the transmission, distribution and marketing of Natural gas. NGC has several metering stations all over Nigeria, I worked at the Ikeja Metering station, which taps it's supply of gas from the Escravos-Ibafo pipeline.
• The Ikeja Metering Station supplies gas to the Lagos Industrial Area with companies such as Seven up bottling company and Gaslink as our key customers
• Responsibilities:
• Reading and interpretation of the Barton Chart and calculation of the volume of gas transmitted through the plant.
• Monitoring of the temperature and pressure condition at key points in the plant.
• Boiler maintenance and monitoring.
• Isolation of gas metering lines.
