I am a story teller at heart, interested in narratives that bring communities and individuals together. I've made films around the world for major international television networks and platforms, such as Netflix, National Geographic, PBS and Discovery. This body of work encompasses a period of more than 25 years. I'm driven to reshape and reclaim spaces, ensuring that they are inclusive and representative of those on the fringes of society. My personal and creative endeavours delve into challenging often-sensitive topics, shedding light on uncomfortable yet necessary issues. As an educator and active member of my community, I try to bring attention to situations that need to be highlighted and help amplify the voices that need to be heard.
