• At YobiAI, we are working on Jump!
• Jump helps to cut down time needed for selection of video clips from a large amount of video data by upto 90%. It does this through a combination of machine learning algorithms and some clever engineering. Currently it's a plugin to premiere pro on a Mac.

• 4 granted patents for my work with Prof. Raskar.
• Collaborative research with Prof. Ramesh Raskar. During this visit, we developed a high speed monoline camera. This was done with the help of clever optics and rolling shutter of the CMOS sensor to achieve 25000 fps single line camera. This camera observes only a single line in the scene. An example application is at the finish lines of a sprint to decide the winner.

• As a Principal Researcher at NRC, I have been involved in the development of cool camera technologies like LightSpeak, Monoline camera, motion deblurring using HW/SW combination.
• My latest work is in the conceptualization and development of LightSpeak. It is a technology which allows light to communicate with normal CMOS sensors on a mobile phone.
• I have also worked on development of motion deblurring algorithm by utilizing the Optical Image Stabilizer of a CMOS sensor. Other than this, I have been involved in conceptualizing several innovations which exploit the rolling shutter of a CMOS sensor. I have also worked on the development and conceptualization of cinemagraphs which is available on several Nokia phones.

• Development of algorithms for Face Recognition, Face Detection, Face Tracking, Red Eye Removal, Panorama.
• Delivery of these algorithms to different platforms like Meego and Symbian.
• As Senior Architect at Nokia, I was involved in the architecture of Face Recognition algorithm and several other imaging algorithms for multiple platforms. The role involved defining requirements for algorithm developers and interfacing with architects from Meego, Symbian and S40 to bring the algorithms to products. FR solution was part of Meego N9 and Qt Mobility.This role involved the architecture needs of a team of about 70 people.

• In this role, I was involved in the development and architecture of algorithms like Face Tracking and Red Eye Removal. These algorithms were employed across several Nokia platforms and products. This role required the management of architecture needs of a 30 member team.

• In this role, I was involved in developing features for video codecs for several ARM platforms. These software codecs were deployed across platforms for several Nokia products. In this role, I was leading a team of 4. I also conceptualized a Ad platform called "Nokia Ads for Common Man" which won the 3rd prize in an internal idea competition and led to a formation of a business unit around the concept.
