• The Mobile device-based Social Networking application, also called as Push-to-Ask is a suite of applications (one for each specific purpose) which let users to ask questions and get back answers from their social contacts. Such questions may be for various different purposes, each supported by a specific Push-to-Ask application. Some examples of such Push-to-Ask applications are:
• General information gathering (viz. searching for any general user-specified information from the User’s social network)
• Extended Friendship – Application allowing Users to get in touch with their extended (friends of friends) social network.
• Noted Academic Projects:
• Improving Object-Oriented Methods using Fuzzy Logic – A controller to improve object- oriented methods was implemented in Java based on the idea conceived from the paper, “Improving Object-Oriented Methods using Fuzzy Logic”.
• A Portal for all the network users was developed in C (UNIX platform) using sockets. The system allows the users to share files, news and post queries.
• TSpace – A Social Networking based mobile application was developed using Java 2 Micro Edition based on the idea conceived from the paper, “ A Social Query Protocol for User-level Information Exchange”
