• Key Backend Engineering Contributions
• Re-designed the complete Elasticsearch architecture by replacing static Mongo-driven search with a dynamic, context-based search engine. Implemented dynamic min-score calculation, better tokenisation strategies, and thematic relevance scoring, improving search accuracy by nearly 10x compared to the previous system.
• Built a highly reliable data sync pipeline between MongoDB and ClickHouse using queue-based processing, achieving a 99.99 percent sync success rate. Reduced heavy computation API response time from ~700ms to ~100ms using ClickHouse, enabling 7x faster API performance.
• Developed an in-house monitoring and alerting system for scheduled jobs with real-time error visibility on the admin dashboard. This reduced job failure troubleshooting turnaround from almost a full day to just a few hours.
• Major Product & Platform Work
• Designed and implemented the User Wallet System supporting thousands of concurrent transactions with strict consistency guarantees. Built accurate balance tracking, race-condition handling, multi-level approvals, and automated petty cash validations.
• Enhanced the Warehouse Management System by expanding material procurement, project linkage flows, and introducing warehouse as a core system entity. Implemented Source-to-Destination transfer logic with correct expense booking and financial accountability.
