• Designed, built data protection, data management and data compliance software for Cassandra and Couchbase.
• My work involved developing understanding of database architectures, their data, consistency, availability and replication models. Designed and developed highly scalable components that move, store and manage data as well as metadata. We built backup-recovery, data mirroring, data masking and broadly, data management features in the product for enterprise customers. Led effort to deliver Couchbase data management platform. Also made contributions in various areas like smart application discovery, global deduplication, anomaly detection etc.

• Design and development of a distributed cache framework. The caches store data in two tiers and keep it synchronised. Also carry out experiments such as building a production ready prototype of a distributed lock for example.
• Make enhancements in the hierarchical entitlement system to support more fine grained channel aware access control. This allows customers to control permissions of specific objects and operations for a specific channel. Overall lead and oversee all efforts in the entitlement system.
• Performance improvements of SQL queries. Involved detailed query analysis, understanding query execution plans & improving overall execution time.
