• At OpenTable, I’ve progressed through a series of increasingly responsible technical leadership roles for this industry-leading restaurant technology. I’ve had the opportunity to travel the world and impact several business locations as a key part of the platform’s growth.
• I am currently directing the front-end development of web and mobile applications to drive the user experience. My role allows me to develop strategies that streamline the development process, engage audiences, and build platform value while leading a cross-functional engineering team.
• As a team, we own the OpenTable.com front-end experience. It’s my pleasure to mentor, train, and grow a 12-person team of software developers working to create and optimize a Node.js and React-based tech stack that delivers integrated content to a high volume platform seeing up to 8M visitors daily.
• A highlight of my leadership at OpenTable has been the opportunity to combine front-end and back-end teams. This initiative I identified has allowed us to offer a more cohesive front-end experience through streamlined web application development, reduced costs, and improved communications.
• I also collaborate with the product team and other cross-functional stakeholders to strategize new products, iterate existing technology, understand business requirements, inform product road maps, and execute development efforts.

• I led a cross-functional engineering team driving the full-stack, end-to-end development of restaurant services and front-end content assets, including photos, reviews, menus, and editorials. I oversaw a team of five front-end developers and software engineers creating and releasing new and optimized functionality across a range of content assets, including editorial, photography, dishes, and reviews.
• I proposed the architecture required to achieve business goals while building the business use case to gain stakeholder buy-in. I also drove team workload across functional areas, including front-end, back-end, data science, and analytics. I also spearheaded an overhaul to improve integrated content delivery for photography, editorial, and menus while partnering with the data team to create, engineer, and release new features aligned with customer feedback.
• We also migrated legacy platforms to enable a more modern and innovative technology stack across all verticals while supporting the enterprise goal to create consistency across technology, languages, services, databases, and tools.
