With ~5 years of experience in building multiple training programs for career growth, policy enablement & as a trusted advisor for policy management & pitched changes. I was the first Technical Trainer (5 years+) at Cloudflare focused on growing / creating different types of programs; including targeted initiatives, ongoing career focused programs & technical leadership. I also ran the instructor-led training for both internal employees & external partners for the NAMER region. One of my key strengths is my ability to understand and connect with people. I consistently focus on how I can support their career growth and unlock their potential. The role also included updating and maintaining wiki’s & runbooks and creating LMS courses, policy advisory for the support team (it is very important to consider how it really is on the frontline of support), always learning, creating labs & material. Project management was also a huge part of the role. Overseeing new hires' expectations, schedules, and key performance indicators (KPIs) throughout their first three months of employment Prior to becoming a Technical Trainer, I successfully became an effective Technical Support Engineer (2 years). This experience honed my abilities in empathy, technical curiosity along with layer 7 internet troubleshooting along with experience in layer 3 and 4, with my SME being in Security. My previous experience of running my own Hosting & Security company in the UK, helped me enhance my skill set in understanding people. People are complex, but working with people through relationship building, finding how I can help them achieve was very fulfilling.
