• I was responsible for fixing all the security vulnerabilities on two categories of devices, Application delivery controller and Load balancer. I was the point of contact for the penetration testers that reported these through our bug bounty programme. Issues I fixed include HeartBleed, shellshock, SSI attacks, XML/ Data validation, XSS and LDAP injection etc.
• I implemented features such as providing customers with capability of allowing or denying packets based on predefined rules. I was also involved in the certificate validations or creating new certificates on the device itself, as well as maintain interaction between IPv4 and IPv6 services seamlessly.
• Created the whole networking environment and setup, with help from Microsoft engineers, necessary for Lync and MS SharePoint enterprise deployments.
• Migrate backups from a customer device to Barracuda's new device category and make all the necessary changes to the data for the new device on the fly. Thus making the process seamless for user. The database used was Postgre SQL and languages used were Perl and Shell.
