About

Senior Designer | Product (UI/UX), Visual and Motion Design | ex IBMer | Design Futures Advocate As a versatile and future-focused designer with a background in UI/UX, visual & motion design, I bring a multidisciplinary mindset to every project I work on. With experience working across banking (HSBC, Barclays, SBI), AI (IBM Watson), cloud (IBM Power), energy (National Grid, Woodside Energy) education (UAL), heritage and other creative sectors, I thrive at the intersection of strategy and execution, crafting experiences that are as meaningful as they are delightful. I’ve collaborated with global teams as an IBMer (2021-2024), receiving appreciations and accolades from the design leadership in UK, US, India, Australia, and leaders like IBM Associate Design Director UK, IBM Design Director Australia, IBM Software Executive Creative Director US, IBM Corporate Social Responsibility Manager US, IBM APAC Managing Partner and IBM clients in the banking, energy, cloud, AI and eLearning industries. Worked in the areas of IT modernisation, design for cloud, corporate branding, and speculative design. Shaped user-first narratives in higher education, and contributed to initiatives spanning EDI. My approach is rooted in design thinking, ecological awareness, and cross-disciplinary innovation, inspired by my MA Design Management journey at UAL, where I explored how speculative design, regenerative practice, and applied imagination shape the future of creativity. Core Skills:UI/UX Design (Figma, Claude Code, Lovable, Augment, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision) Visual & Motion Design (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Blender) (Adobe Certified Professional) Branding & Storytelling Design Strategy, Speculative Design & Futures Thinking Design ResearchDesign Management and Leadership (Conducting Design Thinking workshops and mentoring graduate designers) What I Bring: Whether I’m conducting user testing for fintech, storyboarding a social narrative, or creating motion assets for a product launch, I’m always focused on clarity, empathy, and impact. My hybrid skill set allows me to switch seamlessly between roles as a designer, strategist, and futurist.I’m always open to part-time, freelance, or collaborative opportunities where creativity meets purpose. If you're looking for a designer who can move from pixels to purpose and thoughts to experiences, say hi!

Mentor for BA UX Design Year 3 Students at LCC

Nov 2025Present · 6 mos

  • Mentored BA UX Design students at LCC in 2 studio sessions alongside two experienced course tutors as the students explored user scenarios and relationships through emergent and lateral thinking mapping activities.
  • Set in Week 9 of a 13-week unit, students brought on prior research to define user ecosystems and develop personas that bring their users and relationships to life. Working in small groups, a team was paired with me as a mentor to guide their thinking and creative process. This provided an opportunity to collaborate with an academic team and gain insight into student-led projects.
  • Second session consisted evaluating a project pitch prepared by students and support tutors in providing feedback to help students enhance their work in progress towards submission after the Winter break.
  • Set in week 11 of a 13 week unit, students showcased a 3-minute film designed as a pitch to persuade the audience of the value and relevance of their project creative proposal. This proposal provided the foundation for their Final Project in Block 2.

Climate Advocate: London College of Communication

Nov 2025Present · 6 mos

  • As an LCC Climate Advocate, I am employed to contribute to UAL’s Climate Action Plan and take a holistic approach to supporting the embedding of climate, social & racial justice principles into courses and culture at LCC. I work with the LCC Climate Advocate Coordinator to develop ideas and creative practice in order to make an eco-social impact. I work primarily on climate justice projects, with the understanding that climate justice intersects heavily with other liberation and justice causes. I also work with other student partners such as LCC Changemakers and Climate Advocates from other UAL colleges.
  • I build relationships with a range of students and staff to support activities which enable schools, programmes and courses to implement change. I play a key role in understanding students’ viewpoints on climate justice within the curriculum. I engage with college and course teams to understand the multi-layered approach LCC and UAL are taking to address the climate crisis; and collaborate with academic programmes to develop curriculum co-design projects for the coming academic year.

Product Designer (MA Collaboration) with Digital Learning Practice at UAL

Jun 2025Nov 2025 · 5 mos

  • Led my MA Design Management live Final Major Project in collaboration with UAL’s Digital Learning Practice, which I proactively secured by aligning my research on eco-social AI impact with institutional priorities. This collaboration gave the opportunity to reframe and redesign the UAL's AI Position Statement & Student Guide to Generative AI through a decolonial, eco-social lens, translating critical insights into actionable prototypes using UAL content management system, projected to increase AI literacy within staff and students by 30%.
  • The UAL AI workshop that I designed and reviewed with the Digital Learning Producer was attended by leadership and stakeholders across UAL, including Academic Development, College Digital Learning Teams, Digital & Technology Teams, Student Marketing and Recruitment Team, and UAL Net Zero Team.
  • The workshop & research outcomes are informing the redesign of UAL’s Generative AI Position Statement and Student Guide, currently in production by enhancing UX, including cross-departmental inputs, student voice and critical framing. This work reflects my product design approach: systems-aware, impact-focused, driven by curiosity, inclusivity, and responsible innovation.
