• Design Interventions in Pressure Ulcer Care for Bedridden Patients
• Under Prof. Nishant Sharma, this project addresses the everyday challenges of bedridden patients by tackling the preventable yet persistent issue of pressure ulcers.
• A prototype of a smart mattress, integrated with an in-house developed pressure sensor and a predictive risk-assessment dashboard for nurses and caretakers, was developed to enhance prevention and monitoring.
• As the sole designer in the team, my role involved the following:
• Conducted ethnographic and user research to identify gaps in pressure ulcer care.
• Designed a two-part intervention (physical + digital) integrating hardware usability with a digital monitoring interface (HMI).
• Iterated prototypes using user feedback and medical expert insights.
• Work selected for ongoing testing phase in collaboration with healthcare partners.

• Conducted under Samsung’s Prism Program, this project examined the connected device ecosystem to enhance multi-device usability.
• The study identified key gaps in connectivity, troubleshooting, and data-sharing, translating insights into actionable UX directions for improved cross-device cohesion.
• Carried out comprehensive UX analysis of Samsung’s device connectivity ecosystem (QuickShare, SmartView, SmartThings).
• Led user research with professionals aged 45+, uncovering critical gaps in cross-device communication, troubleshooting, and data visibility, informing design improvements for multi-device contexts.
• Delivered ecosystem-level UX insights, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes, validated through iterative user testing.
• Findings contributed to a research paper in progress under the Samsung Prism program.

• Commissioned by ISRO’s Human Space Flight Centre (HSFC), this project addressed the critical challenge of fluid containment in microgravity. Uncontrolled fluids and bodily waste can contaminate spacecraft interiors, endanger astronaut health, and compromise mission safety.
• The brief was to design a foolproof vomit bag that ensures ergonomic use, secure sealing, and containment under differential pressure. My role involved the following:
• Researched user behavior and constraints in microgravity to guide product performance requirements.
• Studied and evaluated current vomit bag designs, generating insights for improved ergonomics and function.
• Prototyped and refined form and seal variations to optimize usability in zero-gravity conditions
