From an early age I’ve always been deeply interested in computing. It was my dad, introducing me to the computer systems at his workplace that first sparked this interest. Along with keen interest in computers, my liking for mathematics provided me with a great background to move further in this field. I have been passionate about coding in my college days. Being in the corporate world for the last 6 years, I worked on varied technologies like Python, Flask, REST APIs, .Net, C#, SQL, SQL Server, MySQL, Snowflake. Given an opportunity to lead a critical module, based on my performance, communication and leadership skills helped me gain insights of every phase of SDLC, right from requirement gathering, analysis/suggesting approach, estimating efforts, deciding priorities, taking ownership of software components and associated development in terms of timelines and quality. Also supporting enhancements and maintenance of existing applications. Along with Lila Poonawalla Foundation, I started a small initiative to teach coding to engineering students and have mentored 200+ girls since. Teaching and mentoring are passions close to my heart - "We rise by lifting others". I deeply enjoy participating in extracurricular activities and pursuing new experiences so as to push myself and broaden my horizons may it be developing an application in a new language or reading a new book or hosting an event!!
