My entrepreneurial journey began at the School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), where I was pursuing my PhD. What started as an academic curiosity in Intelligent systems soon evolved into a deep desire to build real-world solutions that could transform industries. In 2016, I made the bold decision to leave academia and dive into entrepreneurship — a move that would define the next decade of my life. From founding Synapse, where we developed robotics-driven security solutions, to building SmartClean into an industry-leading cleaning OS running in over 150 properties across APAC, and now leading Eternia, my work has consistently focused on applying deep technology to solve complex operational challenges in the built environment. As I turn 40 and step into the next chapter, I am charting a long-term course for the next 40 years under the Eternia Group — a collective vision uniting entrepreneurship, innovation, and purpose. This includes the establishment of Eternia Ventures, the family venture office driving strategic investments and collaborations; Eternia Labs, an ideation and innovation lab nurturing future-ready technologies; and Eternia Health, a mission-driven initiative focused on solving health data and tracking challenges for the masses. Together, these ventures reflect our commitment to addressing the most pressing issues of our time through sustainable, tech-driven solutions.
